We are offering a weekly drop in Meditation class at the Pilates Shed, 98-102 High Street, Deal CT14 6EE (accessed through a bright red door next to Le Pinadier), on a Saturday morning 11:15am - 12:15pm.
No experience is necessary and we will be teaching two meditation techniques: the Mindfulness of Breathing Practice and The Loving Kindness Practice.
This is a friendly class run by members of a our group. Do join us.
We are pleased to be able to also offer an optional brief 'Introduction to Buddhism' session at the end of each Saturday drop in meditation class. If you are interested to know more about Buddhism, you are very welcome to stay on. This will be for up to an hour. Our aim is to offer this extra part of the morning for no extra cost.
No - the class is suitable for everyone, especially those who are completely new to meditation and Buddhism.
No, you can just turn up...
There are no special requirements, just make sure you'll be comfortable to sit for the length of the meditation. You may wish to bring a blanket if it is cold. (You can sit on either a chair or a meditation cushion on a mat).
